Daniel Takes On Cycling Challenge To Complete TGA Mobility's Wheelchair And Powerpack Donation To Js Hospice

Daniel Salter, aged 30 from Sudbury, is taking on his second sporting challenge for  The J’s Hospice  to add a  powerpack  to the charity’s pioneering new folding wheelchair – donated by TGA Mobility. Daniel is a keen cyclist and runner and works as a mobility product consultant for  TGA , the UK-leading mobility scooter and product specialist based in Suffolk. Last year, he signed up for the 2016 Chelmsford Marathon which is organised by The J’s Hospice. It was his first ever marathon and he was inspired to do something special for the charity, so he asked his employer to donate a  lightweight and ergonomic StrongBack wheelchair and TGA kindly agreed.   The J's Hospice charity improves the lives of young adults (aged 16-40) with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families across Essex, in the comfort of their own homes. Roy Revs Up Once More To Discover The Delights Of Devon On His New Harley Davidson TGA Mobility Scooter

Despite living with walking difficulties and severe asthma, Roy Dyer, 47, from Barnstaple, has been able to fulfil his passion for wildlife photography thanks to his new off-road  ‘Harley Davidson’ TGA mobility scooter . Roy lives near Barnstaple in north Devon and is a highly positive individual and takes each day as it comes. He lives with major breathing challenges and regularly experiences severe  asthma  attacks, exasperated by only having one working lung. This condition resulted in Roy having to reluctantly take early retirement from his career in welding, manufacturing and engineering which he thoroughly enjoyed. As a flexible character with a ‘go getting’ and ‘put his hand to anything’ attitude, living with restricted freedom is unbearable for Roy. To remain independent, he invested in a mobility scooter a few years ago however it did not have the performance or capabilities to tackle the many rural tracks and trails in picturesque Devon. Mike graduated from Reading University and served in the Police Force for seven years. In 1990, he was assaulted whilst on duty in Gosport resulting in major injuries to his lower spine. He subsequently underwent several back operations which stabilised his vertebrate for 15 years during which time he could walk again. He returned to higher education and qualified with a degree in Radiography which led to a position at the Conquest Hospital, East Sussex.  Following another seven years in a job he enjoyed, Mike began to feel pain and weakness in his legs again. He was forced to give up his position with the NHS and since then his condition has deteriorated. All associated with his original injury aged 28,
