TGA SHOWCASE AT TRADE DAYS DELIVERS DIRECT BUSINESS FROM KEY TGA RETAILERS
Through the presentation of a
varied showcase, TGA Mobility has achieved a significant level of networking
and trade enquiries from selective TGA retailers at the first Trade Days
exhibition (NEC, Hall 18, 5-6th October, Stand E10).
The TGA team presented
several features to retailers at Trade Days that included a new product launch,
a discount-related table football competition and two informative seminars. The
complete portfolio of TGA scooters were also available to test and trial along
with the new 32st capacity wheelchair Powerpack and the TGA puncture
sealant.
The TGA team welcomed key
TGA retailers onto stand E10 to demonstrate the new Minimo Plus scooter which
was unveiled at Trade Days and now offers a foldable model with enhanced drivability.
Based on the best-selling, lightweight Minimo, the Plus version still retains a
compact chassis but incorporates advanced features that are normally only associated
with larger, mid-range scooters. The 4mph Minimo Plus incorporates larger
pneumatic tyres, more powerful controller, integrated light, higher ground
clearance and enhanced ultra-lightweight batteries. It also provides a higher
rider weight capacity than the standard Minimo so users weighing up to 115kg
(250lbs) can be accommodated. This next generation car boot scooter produced
significant interest from retailers along with the larger 8mph Maximo which
will also be available soon.
Tim Ross, TGA National Sales
Manager commented: “Considering this is a launch event, the TGA trade team and
I have been pleased with the interest and business generated at Trade Days. The
table football competition added a fun atmosphere to the stand and several TGA
retailers won enough games to achieve impressive discounts on our scooter
range. Interest in the new Minimo Plus and forthcoming larger Maximo was high
as our pioneering concept in car boot scooters continues to evolve. Overall the
show had a relaxed atmosphere, with a more selective number of attendees, so our
Area Sales Managers were able to spend time discussing business more thoroughly.
The knowledge that you were only talking to trade people at the show was
excellent in terms of faster qualification and the ability to pitch your angle
correctly. We leave Trade Days with the knowledge that TGA retailers are up to
speed with all our developments and have a better understanding of the unique
trade support we offer.”
